Naomi M. Smith

Naomi M. (Maurey) Smith died, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at her home. She was 91.Born in Grampian, PA, Naomi was an original Levittown homeowner of 66 years in the Lakeside section. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fairless Hills. Naomi was a graduate of Ebensberg High School.She spent her career in retail, working 15 years at the former Two Guys Department Store.Her biggest accomplishment was raising her family, she was a very proud wife and mother.She loved Betty Boop and Shirley Temple.Naomi was always happy to help others and ready to lend a helping hand.Beloved wife of 71 years to Robert, Naomi is loving mother of William L. (Jean Marie), James R. (Sue Ellen), Robert D. (Helen), Donna Jean Stephens, and the late Richard (Ida) Smith.She will also be sadly missed by her 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 12:00 until 1:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm. Burial of ashes will follow in Tullytown Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Smith's name may be made to First United Methodist Church of Fairless Hills, 840 Trenton Road, Fairless HIlls, PA 19030.
