

Nelson W. Anderson passed away on Monday January 17, 2022 at home at the age of 70. He was born in Wilmington, North Carolina, the son of the late Elizabeth (Jordan) and John Anderson. Nelson had been a resident of the Levittown/Langhorne area for the past 65 years. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1969 and served the Air Force from1970 to 1974.
He was the loving husband of Michele (Botti) Anderson for the past 41 years and father to Krista Menard (Pierre) and Scott (Nicole) Anderson. One of his favorite passions was talking to and about his four grandchildren, Mia Ava, Bella and Jordan.
He is survived by his three sisters, Dee (Anderson) Kelly, Linda (Anderson) Jones, and Sandra (Anderson) Gwilliam and many nieces and nephews.
Nelson had a passion and love of history. He was a Civil War reenactor for many years. He was an active member of the Langhorne Rod and Gun Club where he also served as club secretary for 10 years. He loved the outdoors and was concerned about animal welfare. No one was ever considered a stranger in his home. Everyone was always welcomed with open arms and usually became a part of his droll sense of humor. No one ever escaped. Dad jokes ran rampant.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 10:00 until 12:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will be held at 1:30 PM at Washington Crossing Military Park.
