Owen L. WileyOwen L. Wiley of Morrisville died on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital for Neurosciences in Philadelphia. He was 71.Born in Trenton, Owen was raised in Langhorne and graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1962.He worked as a lineman for Philadelphia Electric Company on the Penndel and Newtown platforms for 32 years until retiring as a supervisor in 1995.Owen was a proud Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Fallsington United Methodist Church.An avid outdoors man, Owen was a member of the Woodbourne Rod and Gun Club where he served as President and was a hunting safety course instructor. He was also a member of the Woodtown Game Club in Pike County. Owen enjoyed gardening and reading.Owen is survived by his wife of 20 years, Amy L. Wiley; his son, Brian Wiley; stepsons, Chad Shaffer (Joy) and Adam Shaffer (Rachael); 4 grandchildren, Ellen, Owen, Wyatt and Josiah and other extended family.Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Monday, from 11:00 am until 12 noon, at Fallsington United Methodist Church, 50 Lacrosse St., Fallsington, PA 19054 where his memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fallsington United Methodist Church.
