Paul L. Ryan

Paul Leonard Ryan Paul L. Ryan died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. He was 87. Born in Allentown, PA, the son of the late Merrit and Violet Ryan, Paul was a resident of Levittown for 55 years. He started his 33 year career with the US Postal Service when mail was still being delivered by train. Over the years, he made his way up to Customer Service Representative for Express Mail, where he finished his career in Trenton, NJ. Paul retired in 1986. Paul was a very proud US Marine Corps World War II veteran. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bus trips to Atlantic City. Beloved husband of 65 years to Helen (Kranyecz), Paul was the loving father of Gary T. and his late wife, Lissa; Carol A. Leiggi and her husband, John; Donna M. Colsher and her husband, Paul; and Diana L. Ryan-Butts and her husband, Robert. He was the devoted grandfather of Heather Counihan and her husband, Richard; Brian Colsher and his wife, Pamela; and Ryan Butts and the proud great grandfather of Emma and Zachary. Paul was the brother of William Ryan and his wife, Mimi and the late Robert Ryan. Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Friday at precisely 10:30 am, in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Please be prompt.
