

Born and raised in Rosebud, PA, Phyllis moved to Lower Bucks County as a teenager and graduated from the former Delhaas High School in 1956.
She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker, a job she greatly enjoyed. Her family was most important to her and she truly loved the times spent with them.
Beloved wife of Joseph R. Cummons Jr. for 64 years, Phyllis was the loving mother of Joseph R. III (Mary), Patricia Muszynski (Ted), Sandra Lackman (Fred) and Joy Blosser (Carl).
She will also be missed by 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Family and friends are invited to call from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 25th at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends are also invited to assemble on the funeral home parking lot from 9 until 9:15 a.m on Friday, March 26th for procession to Washington Crossing National Cemetery where a Committal service will be held at precisely 10 a.m.
