Phyllis Irene Evans of Levittown died on Thursday, August, 6, 2015 at her home in Levittown. She was 94. Born in Wiggans, PA, Mrs. Evans has been a resident of Levittown for 63 years. She was a member of Emilie United Methodist Church. Mrs. Evans was the beloved wife of the late John T. Evans Sr. She was the loving mother of Phyllis MacNaughton (the late Lee), John T. Evans Jr. (Joanne) and Robert J. Evans (fiancee Maggie Schiebel). She was the sister of Russell Lindenmuth. She will also be sadly missed by 7 grandchildren, Scott, Sean, Jacki, Jill, Jodi, Bobbi-Michelle, and Robb, who she raised, 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her pets Shep and Magie. Mrs. Evans was predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, from to 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Emilie United Methodist Church Cemetery.
