Raymond W. Grimes Raymond W. ( Ray) Grimes died suddenly on Saturday, July 23, 2011 while enjoying one of his favorite past times, fishing. He was 57. Born in Trenton, NJ, the son of Elizabeth A. (Murin) and the late Raymond D. Grimes, he was a life long resident of Lower Bucks County. Ray was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish. He was employed with the K-Mart Warehouse in Morrisville for the past 20 years. An avid reader, Ray also enjoyed fishing, going to the beach and sitting on his front porch. He had umpired for the PIAA and ASA and was a supporter of local sports teams. He was an avid Steelers fan. One of his greatest enjoyments was gardening and taking care of his lawn. He was known as the "Lawn King" to his many friends and neighbors. Beloved husband for 33 years to Celeste V. (Pierandozzi), Ray was the loving father of Sarah Worthington (James) of Bristol Boro and Courtney L. Grimes (his peanut) of South Philadelphia. He will also be sadly missed by his pride and joy, his grandson, James; his sister, Judy Goldberg (Bill) of Levittown; his mother-in-law, Carmela Pierandozzi; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Zapata (Manny) of Spring Hill, FL, Carolyn Hammond of Trevose, Carmela Pine (Robert) of Trevose, Debbie Piantoni (Ed) of Trenton, Bridget Munchback (Don) of Bensalem, Maureen Rossi (John) of White Oak; his brother-in-law, Richard Pierandozzi (Phyllis) of Brownsburg, IN and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Raymond Pierandozzi. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, 8:30 until 10:00 am at Saint Joseph the Worker Church, 9172 New Falls Road, Fallsington, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will be private.
