
Richard Boggi died on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Lower Bucks Hospital. He was 52. Mr. Boggi, born in Philadelphia the son of Louis F. and Emma (Davies) Boggi, was raised in Croydon. He spent most of his life in Lower Bucks County until moving to Philadelphia 5 years ago. He was a graduate of the former Delhaas High School, Class of 1975, where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams. Mr. Boggi enjoyed all Philadelphia sports. He served in the US Navy. He loved his family especially his nieces and nephews and the family pet dogs. Along with his parents, Mr. Boggi is survived by his loving brothers and sisters, Louis Boggi III (Noreen) of Levittown, Stephen Boggi of Croydon, Donna Frazier (Jerry) of Seminole, FL and Susan Barron McFarland (John) of Philadelphia with whom he resided. He will also be sadly missed by 6 nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Boggi. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 8:45 until 9:45 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown 19056. His funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception BVM Church, at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. The family has requested that memorial contributions in his name be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, P.O. Box 759155, Baltimore, MD 21275-9155.
