

Richard R. "Dick" Ducko died on May 25, 2012 at Aria Hospital, Torresdale Campus. He was 74. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, he was a '56 graduate of Trenton Central High School. A US Navy veteran, Dick was a quality control electronics specialist. He worked for nearly 40 years in the aerospace industry building weather and defense satellites with various companies such as the former RCA Astro, GE Aerospace, Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin, from which he retired in 1995. Dick loved to garden and grow his own plants from seeds, he took great pride in his tomatoes. He volunteered with meals-on-wheels for the Red Cross in Trenton NJ and loved to play poker with his fellow Levittown retired seniors. He had many hobbies and interests including fishing, bowling and building custom furniture. He was always willing to help a friend or neighbor fix something, especially in the electronics field. There was never a dull moment when he was with children. He loved to do things with his grandchildren, who kept him active and on the go. He will be dearly missed by so many who loved him. Dick was the beloved husband of 52 years to Julia (Repitcky) and the loving father of Richard A. (Barbara) of Penndel, Michael J. Duco (Kathy) of Langhorne, Mark E. (Dawn) and Douglas M. (Andrea), both of Sarasota, FL and Donna M. Hevener (Edward) of Levittown. He was the dear grandfather of Richard, Ronald and Zachary Ducko, Cori and Steven Duco, Casey Ducko, Evan, Logan and Victoria Hevener and the greatgrandfather of six. He will also be sadly missed by his sister Regina Baker of Sarasota, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions in Dick's memory be made to the American Heart Association.
