Richard E. Fischer of Levittown died at his home on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the age of 87.Mr. Fischer was born in Augusta, Maine and graduated from Blessed Sacrament High School in New Rochelle, NY in 1946. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict.Mr. Fischer was a dedicated letter carrier for 25 years and lived in Levittown for more than 50 years.He enjoyed participating in Civil War reenactments with the North-South Skirmish Association and was an avid sportsman.Mr. Fischer is survived by his loving daughter Stephanie Fischer of Bensalem; his sister Cindy Farrell of Hyannis, MA and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents Rene and Maxine Fischer.Services will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Rd., Kanah, Utah 84741 or the Michael J.
