Richard Sollosi

Richard Dick Sollosi of Levittown, PA passed away on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Saint Mary Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 68. Born in Bethlehem, PA, he is the son of Helen (Raykos) Sollosi and the late Louis S. Sollosi. He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila (Young) Sollosi, and his three children Rick Sollosi (Cheryl) of Levittown, PA, Dina Erickson (Peter) of Ewing, NJ and Derek Sollosi (Erika) of Houston, TX. Richard had five grandchildren: Rebecca and Amanda Sollosi, Carl Francis and John Erickson, and Veronika Helen Sollosi. He also leaves behind his loyal companion, Sam. Richard is also survived by his sister, Nancy Tendziegloski (Fred) of Levittown, PA, his brother Warren Pae (Lorrie) of Hamilton, NJ and his cousin Kati Fodor of Woodland Hills, CA. He also had many nieces, nephews and cousins. Richard was preceded in death by his infant sister, Julia and his goddaughter Tracie (Tendziegloski) Synder. Richard was the owner of Patio Concrete Products in Levittown, PA. He was a 1960 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, and served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. Richard was a member of the Knight sof Columbus. St. Joseph the Worker Council #4215 and the St. John Neuman Assembly, and a member of the Tin Can Sailors. Richard took great pride of his Hungarian heritage and he travelled to Hungary many times. He truly enjoyed simple things in life such as spending time with his family, fishing and traveling. Family and friends are invited to call from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
