Rita G. McGarrigleRita G. McGarrigle passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the age of 94.Born in Camden, NJ and raised in Collingswood, NJ, Mrs. McGarrigle has been a long time original Levittown homeowner residing in Bristol Township for the past 64 years. She was an original member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish in Levittown.Mrs. McGarrigle was a Registered Nurse, working mostly in hospitals and nursing homes until retiring at the age of 68. After her retirement, she became an Aide for the after school care program at Saint Michael the Archangel School.Beloved wife of the late John F. and loving mother of the late Patrick F., Mrs. McGarrigle is survived by her devoted children, Susan F. and John F. McGarrigle.She will also be sadly missed by her grandson, Sean Patrick; her twin brothers, John and Michael D'Alessandro; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. McGarrigle's name may be made to Saint Michael the Archangel School, 130 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA 19054.
