Robert A. Deeley

Robert A. Deeley died on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne at the age of 83.

Born and raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, Mr. Deeley resided in Northeast Philadelphia for many years prior to moving to Falls Township ten years ago.

Until his retirement in 1993, Mr. Deeley was a truck driver for 40 years, mostly with Crown, Cork and Seal in Philadelphia. He was a member of Teamsters Locals 470 and 500.

Beloved husband of the late Dorothy, Mr. Deeley is the loving father of Bob (Carol), Rosanne Posner (Joe) and Kathy Ryan (Bob); and and loving companion of Nancy McKay.

He is the devoted grandfather of Brooke (Brian), Bobby, Brad (Jamie), Joey, Kierstan and Bobby; proud great grandfather of Logan, Cailan, Gavin, Acelyn, Bradley and Reese; and twin brother of Raymond.

Mr. Deeley will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and his faithful cat, Nellie.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 17, 2019, from 9:30 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Deeley's name may be made to the Saint Mary Medical Center Foundation, Langhorne-Newtown Road, Langhorne, PA 19047.
