Robert J. Simms

Robert "Bob" Simms, born July 23, 1946, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024, at the age of 78. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Catherine (Kitty); his brother Bill and sister-in-law Candy; his in-laws Patti (Jim), Joe (Carol), Colleen (Brian), and Eileen. Bob was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, including great-nieces and nephews, all of whom he adored.

Bob was a longtime manager of the J.C. Penney furniture store, where he built lasting relationships with both customers and colleagues. A die-hard Philadelphia sports fan, Bob had a special passion for the Eagles and Phillies, cheering them on through every season.

Despite living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, Bob's spirit remained unbroken. He embraced life fully, cherishing time spent with his close friends Terry, Peggy, and Gary. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Bob brought laughter and joy to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
