Born in Abington, PA, Mr. Yerkes has been a life long resident of Lower Bucks County and was a proud US Army veteran.
Mr. Yerkes was a member of I.U.O.E. Local #542 for over 35 years. He enjoyed working on farm equipment.
Beloved husband of the late Evelyn J. (Musgreave), Mr. Yerkes is the loving father of Cheryl L. Stum (Michael) and Robert A. Yerkes Jr. (Hazel); and the devoted grandfather of Kendra, Victoria and Abigail.
He is the dear brother of Nancy Landis, Mimi Heitz, Alice Yerkes, the late Shirley Gottschalk, and uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 1:00 until 3:00 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will held on Monday, March 8, 2021 at precisely 10:00 am in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
