

Roberta L. Wisnewski Roberta L. Wisnewski of Levittown died on Friday, August 29, 2014 at her home. She was 79. Born in Marion Heights, PA, Roberta graduated from Kulpmont High School. She became a long time original Levittown homeowner and member of Immaculate Conception parish. She worked as the office manager for Dr. Bernice Silver in Levittown for nearly 20 years until retiring in 2000. Roberta will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend to many, as well as an amazing cook and baker. She is well-known for her delicious stuffed peppers, homemade pierogies and irresistible cookies and cakes. Among the many exceptional dinners she prepared were for annual celebrations on Easter, and notably on Christmas Eve with Polish Wigilia. Roberta also enjoyed swimming, nature, vegetable gardening and the companionship of her sweet dog Buffy. But mostly she treasured the times spent with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Roberta was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Wisnewski. She will be sadly missed by her five children, Linda Gerber and her late husband William of Norman, OK, Thomas Wisnewski Jr. and his husband Gary Ridge of Upper Makefield, Sharin Chirgott and her husband Paul of Hopewell Township, PA., Michael Wisnewski of Levittown, and Steven Wisnewski, also of Levittown; and her nine grandsons and granddaughters William, Daniel, Stelanie, Thomasina, Michael, Zachary, Cole, Ethan and Hailey. She is survived by her sister Raeann Martin and her husband James of Levittown, and her brother Reynold Dallabrida and his wife Barbara of Fairless Hills. She was predeceased by her sister Irene Donahue of Levittown. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Family and friends may call Wednesday, September 3 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends are also invited to attend her funeral mass on Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown followed by Rite of Committal at Resurrection Cemetery. There are no calling hours on Thursday prior to the mass.
