

Robinson S. WilksRobinson S. "Spiffy" Wilks, of Levittown died surrounded by his loving family on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Silver Lake Nursing Home in Bristol, PA. He was 83.Born on March 11, 1932 in Elizabeth, NJ, Rick has been a resident of Lower Bucks County since 1979.Rick was a decorated US Navy Korean War Veteran and was taken as a Prisoner of War. He was a member of Masonic Lodges: Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Valley of Trenton, Crescent Shrine, Royal Order of Jesters and Royal Arch Masons.Rick was a clown, known as Spiffy, and loved to entertain. He was the founder of "Spiffy's Gang" Clown Organization He had volunteered for many years at Shriner's Children's Hospital as "Spiffy" to brighten the spirits of the many sick children who were patients there.Until his retirement, Rick was a Transportation Manager for several different companies in the surrounding area for many years.Rick was the beloved husband of 33 years to Kathryn M. (Benson) Wilks. He is also survived by his children, Karen and Linda Wilks, John M. Wilks (Kathleen), Thomas W. Young, Michael T. Young (Sally) and Amy M. Thomas (Bob Perciaccante). Rick will also be sadly missed by his 11 grandchildren.Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will be held privately.
