Ronald Mariano Hensor

August 8, 1987 – December 25, 2025
Obituary of Ronald Mariano Hensor
IN THE CARE OF

James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc.

Ronald Hensor Mariano, 38, passed away on December 25, 2025. Lovingly known as "Ron" and "Ronnie" to those he knew best, his departure leaves an aching silence in the lives of those who were touched by his presence.

Ron’s path led him through the halls of Holy Ghost Prep and onward to LaSalle University, where he earned his Accounting degree. That academic journey guided him to a calling he cherished, his dream job as an accountant for the Congregation of the Missions. There, his work brought him deep pride and purpose.

Ron carried a heart full of devotion: for his family, for his beloved dog Molly, and for the joy of shared moments. A spirited sports fan, he relished watching games and placing bets, always bringing energy and enthusiasm to those who joined him.

Ronnie's memory is cherished by his mother, Ann Mariano. He is remembered by brother Matthew Toner and wife Jamie; nephews Owen and Cole; Uncle John Mariano and Aunt Mary Kay; Aunt Denny Mariano-Gublin; and cousins: Katie, Johnny, Jimmy, Rocky, and Amy.

Brittney Guld, Peyton, Joie and Hardin also hold Ron's memory close to heart.

Ron was preceded in death by his brother Justin Toner; grandparents John Mariano and Clare (Miller) Mariano; and Aunt Neen Mariano-Singh. In passing, he is reunited with two guiding lights of his life, his Gram and Pop, whose love shaped him deeply. Pop stood as Ron’s greatest mentor and father figure, always a beacon of unwavering support.

In a final act of generosity, true to his spirit, Ron donated his body to the Gift of Life program.

Friends and Family are welcome to Ron's visitation Wednesday, December 31, 2025 from 8:30am to 10:30am at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jefferson Hospital’s Heart Failure Unit, the Gift of Life Program, or a charity meaningful to you.
