

Rose C. Setting Rose C. Setting passed away after a brief illness on Monday, December 3, 2012. She was 91. Born in Ellwood City, PA, the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Joseph) Salvati, Mrs. Setting was a Fairless Hills resident since 1952 and a founding member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish. She was one of the original sales people who sat in the model homes for Danhurst Corporation. Mrs. Setting worked at the former Alvino's Restaurant for many years and, until her retirement, later worked for 25 years at JC Penney in the Oxford Valley Mall as a sales woman. In later years she became a member of the Weekenders and Life Saint Mary Group. Mrs. Setting will be remembered as a fantastic cook, her fashionable style, her great white hair and her love for all of her granddogs. Beloved wife of the late Frank J., Mrs. Setting was the loving mother of Frances Connelly (Michael), Mary Lou Hall (Charles) and Frank J. Setting (Barbara). She was the devoted grandmother of Warren, Rosemary, Bill, Lesley, Shannon, Amy, Lori, Joseph and Sarah and the very proud great grandmother of Tim, Evan, Dylan, Gavin, Maddi, Jacquelyn, Brandon, Joanna, Lindsey, Jamie, Breanna, Hannah, Nicholas, Mark, Dylan, Nicolas and Nathan. Mrs. Setting will also be sadly missed by her brothers, Lawrence and Louis Salvati (Brenda), her sister, Viola Angelucci and her niece, Renee Vaccaro (Joseph). She was predeceased by a brother, Arie Salvati (Kathy). Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 8:30 until 9:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 South Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
