Rosemarie Marx

Rosemarie Marx died on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 89. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Berwick, PA, Mrs. Marx has been a resident of Trevose since 1955. She was a member of Assumption BVM Parish, Feasterville. Mrs. Marx was a past Treasurer with the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad and was a member of the Trevose Fire Company. She was a 1940 graduate of Hunter School and a 1943 graduate of the Taylor Business School. Beloved wife of the late Edward F. Sr., Mrs. Marx is the loving mother of Edward F. Marx, Jr. (Denise) and Joyce M. Jenkins (Robert). She is the devoted grandmother of Edward F. III, Laura Ruland, Stephen and Matthew Marx, Dana Rueth, Donald Stack and Glenn Jenkins; proud great grandmother of Madeline Marx, Ava and Elsa Ruland; and sister of Maryann DeBenaventura. Mrs. Marx will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
