Ruth L. ButterfieldRuth L. Butterfield passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Attleboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Langhorne at the age of 88. Ruth is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.Born and raised in Berwick, PA, and formerly of Philadelphia, Mrs. Butterfield moved to Levittown in 1969.She has been a long time and faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Fairless Hills, where she was employed as a bookkeeper for the school. Prior to her employment with Faith Baptist Church, Mrs. Butterfield was a bookkeeper at Betz Laboratories in Warminster.Most important to Mrs. Butterfield was always the love for her family and her faith in God.She is the beloved wife of the late William Schilling Jr. and the late Donald Butterfield.Mrs. Butterfield is survived by her devoted son David Schilling (Renee) and her grandchildren, David Jr. and Kaitlyn Schilling.Also surviving Mrs. Butterfield is her brother, James Letteer; sister in law, Gerry Letteer, sister, Fay Smith; several nieces; nephews; and extended family.She was predeceased by her siblings Charles Letteer (late Naomi), Vivian Weaver (late Jesse) and Gladys Russell (late Arthur).Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 15, 2018, from 9:30 until 11:00 am at Faith Baptist Church, 1515 Wistar Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030, where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Butterfield's name may be made to the Faith Baptist Church Deacon's Fund at the above address.
