Ruth Elder Witte

Born on December 29, 1927, in Mount Jackson, Virginia, Ruth was a most loving mother, a cherished member of her community and a dedicated professional in her field.

Ruth graduated from Triplet High School in Mt. Jackson and furthered her education at a Business School in Washington, D.C. She married, raised her four children and then started a remarkable 50-year long career as a Bucks County realtor, demonstrating unwavering dedication and expertise.

A devout member of the United Christian Church in Levittown since 1960, she actively participated in church activities until late in life. Her personal life was filled with joy from family gathering and engaging conversations with friends, reflecting her warm and sociable nature.

Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Adolph "Whitey" Witte. She is survived by her loving children, Bobby Witte and Rosemary, Gerald Witte and his wife Diane, Sharon Giranda and her husband Vince, and Jeffrey Witte and his wife Susan. Ruth's legacy continues through her seven grandchildren—David Witte, Michelle Witte Davis and her husband Josh, Nick Giranda and his wife Anita, Daniel Giranda, Christopher Witte, Jonathon Witte and his wife Gina, and Lizzie Witte and her husband Jordan—as well as her two great-grandchildren, Nora and Marlee.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at the United Christian Church, 8525 New Falls Rd, Levittown, PA 19054 on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10:00 until 11:00 AM The funeral service will be in at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ruth's name may be made to the United Christian Church.

Ruth's life and legacy will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew her, as she leaves behind a lasting impact on her family and friends.

She will be missed.
