

S. Violet Clark S. Violet Clark died on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Wood River Village in Bensalem. She was 89. She was a former long time resident of Fairless Hills and member of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, Fallsington, prior to moving to Wood River Village. Until her retirement in 1992, Mrs. Clark was employed with ETS in Princeton for 35 years. Beloved wife of the late John H. Clark Jr., Mrs. Clark was the loving mother of Johnny D. of Levittown, Rick Clark (Robin) of Levittown, Bruce Clark of Morrisville, Patrick Clark (Robin) of Levittown and Vicky Swisher (Keith) of Hamilton, NJ. She was the devoted grandmother of Stacey (Tom), Ricky Jr. (Grace), Kate (Rosario), Alena, Nakol, Kara, Jonathan (Jill), Kevin, Jordan (Brittany), Austin, Patrick, Bruce M., Amanda and Paige and the proud great grandmother of Samantha, Danny, Lexi, Callie, Emma and Josh. Mrs. Clark was 1 of 13 children with 1 surviving sibling, Yosh Shiota. She will also be sadly missed by her sister-in-law and special friend, Iva Shiota and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm. Interment will be held privately at Beverly National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Alzheimers Association, Inc., Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
