Sam Boone

Sam Boone Sam Boone passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Lourdes Medical Center in Burlington County. He was 86. Born in Pineville, SC, Mr. Boone has been a resident of Bucks County since 1970. He was employed as a Bus Driver with the Council Rock School District for 15 years and with the Willingboro, NJ School Districts. Mr. Boone was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed gardening, however, his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. Beloved husband of 64 years to Mary E. (Tabb), Mr. Boone is the loving father of Sam Boone (Peggy), Ricky Boone (Debra) and Shawn Boone, Sr. He is the devoted grandfather of Timothy, Marcus, Ashley, Tyler, Sarah and Shawn Jr.; proud great grandfather of Sciayre, Ava and Kieran; and dear brother of Maria McDuffie. Mr. Boone will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Sam was preceded in death by his parents Louis Boone and Henrietta (Prioleau) White; brother Joe Boone and sisters Julia Jenkins and Blossom Prioleau. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 1:00 until 3:00 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
