Sarah D. Carman Sarah D. Carman (nee Dallas), age 93, of Middletown Twp., PA, died on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at Crestview Nursing Home in Langhorne. Born in Trenton, NJ, Mrs. Carman was a resident of Trenton prior to moving to Levittown in 1984. She was a 1942 graduate of McKinley Hospital School of Nursing in Trenton and had graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1938. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Mercer Hospital for 25 years ultimately retiring as a private duty nurse after several years of service. Mrs. Carman was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Levittown. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph B. Carman, and the loving mother of two sons: Joseph B. Carman, Jr. and Arthur D. Carman (Carol). She will also be sadly missed by her dear granddaughter, Yvonne Carman (fiancee, Don Williams Jr.). Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Tuesday at 7:30 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA, where friends may call from 6:00 until time of the service. Interment is private.
