Born in Philadelphia, she was raised in Levittown, PA. Sharon was a Spanish teacher in Philadelphia schools and retired in 2013. She was a master gardener, loved biking but most of all she loved the time spent with her grandsons cooking with them as they grew up.
Predeceased by her parents, John and Helen Casper, her brother, John C. Casper and her husband, Harry Mervin. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William "Bill" and Bethiel Mervin; her 5 grandchildren, Nathaniel, Gabriele, Micah, Seraphina and Xavier; her sister, Donna Peters; her sister-in-law, Joan Peters; her niece, Jackie Peters; and her cousin, Peggy Stelmaski.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a service at 11:00 a.m. at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., located at 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056.
Burial will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.
