Shawn R. Nice

Shawn R. Nice, Captain, USMC, formerly of Levittown, died suddenly in Morgantown, Georgia on Monday, April 12, 2010 at the age of 26. Born in Bristol Township, Shawn was raised in Levittown and was a 2002 graduate of Conwell Egan Catholic High School. He graduated from Penn State College of Technology with a Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering and while in college also attended Officer Candidate School at Quantico, Virginia. Upon his graduation, Capt. Nice became a Commissioned Officer and was selected as a Naval Flight Officer at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida where he earned his wings. While relaxing he enjoyed the outdoors. especially fishing and hunting. He will be lovingly remembered as always having a smile on his face. Shawn was the beloved husband of Kimberly (nee Neuhauser) for the past year and a half and they were joyfully anticipating the birth of their first child in November of 2010. He was the loving son of William and Janet (Hribar) Nice of Levittown. He was the brother of April Knorr and her husband Steve of Doylestown and the uncle of Braden Knorr. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 9172 New Falls Rd., Fallsington where his Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
