Born in Philadelphia, she was raised in Croydon. She was a realtor for ReMax for many years. She enjoyed traveling and listening to music. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, Aubrey and Eveline Simpson; her brother, Richard Simpson; and her sister, Doris Gruber. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Kimberlee McCullough (Ed), and Kathleen Underdown-Ross; her grandchildren, Devon Ross, and Erika McCullough and her fiance Ryan Rickards; her sisters, Patricia Frantz, and Dawn Frantz; and many nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by her longtime companion, Ronald Gentile.
A Celebration of Life for Shirley will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056.
All other services for Shirley will be private.
