

Born in Kingston, Ontario Canada, to the late Hymen & Rebecca Silverman, Stanley served in the Fort Henry Guard for 2 years. He was a graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto Canada with a degree in hospitality management. Stanley moved to Hartford, CT in 1963 where he began his 40-year career in the industry and where he met his future wife, Diana. Together they moved to Miami, FL working in the hotel industry before settling in Langhorne in 1974.
Stanley proudly worked in the music and video industry as the Director of Meetings & Conventions for the National Association of Recording Merchandisers (NARM) and the Video Software Dealers Associations (VSDA) in Marlton, NJ before retiring in 1999.
Stanley enjoyed golf while living in Florida and would sit for hours watching any and all professional golf tournaments. He was an avid reader, documenting every book he read. Stanley read many cookbooks and magazines that gave him inspiration to cook some of the most incredible meals for his family and hosted Thanksgiving dinner for a large gathering every year.
Stanley was preceded in death by his beloved wife Diana of 58 years in February 2025, his brother Sidney Silverman and sister Estelle Silverman. He will be deeply missed by his daughters Renee Silverman and Dana Lauer (Jim), his cherished grandchildren Evan and Amanda Lauer, sister Rosalyn Routbard, and his nieces and nephews.
Arrangements for Stanley will be handled privately under the direction of James J Daugherty Funeral Home, Levittown PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the American Heart Association or charity of your choice.
