Have good memories cuz you will be missed god bless

Uncle Steve was always so wonderful to us and our boys. He would go out of his way to make sure he was there to celebrate important life events with us and we will always treasure those special memories with him. A story from Dave: When Steve came to visit for Theo’s first birthday, our water heater was leaking on the basement floor. Steve said, “There’s a trick that involves tapping on the valve. Most of the time it fixes the problem but there’s a sliiiiiiight chance it could make things worse and spray water all over the basement If that happens I’ll help you fix it.” I said, “Absolutely, let’s go for it.” It made the problem worse and water blasted all over the basement. Then we had a grand adventure that involved multiple trips to Home Depot, catching multiple buckets of water and had a great time fixing the problem together. Uncle Steve was such an incredible person and his positive energy will be missed greatly.

It’s still hard to find the right thing to write. I am still in shock you are not here with us. Helene and Patrick and I will miss you very much. But I would like to know if Mom has you playing her numbers for her. Forever in our thoughts.

What I’ll never forget about my Uncle Steve is how happy he was every time I saw him. I’m pretty that that because of how much he loved and appreciated being with his family. No matter where, when or whatever the reason was for us to get together it was always clear how much he enjoyed being together. He was always willing to help someone and never forgot a birthday or special occasion. His joy will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

The world is a little less bright without Steve, a generous and truly kind man. He and Kathi have been our extended family forever and we are all left so sad he has moved on. His memory will live on in all of us.

Steve will be greatly missed. He was our first neighbor to welcome us when we moved in 9 years ago. Whether we were chatting about the weather, sports or he was asking about our boys, it was always a pleasure to catch up with him. He would always say how proud he was of our boys and their accomplishments, and you could tell that it was truly genuine. We will remember him fondly. 

Our family grew up with the Mace’s on Needlepine Lane, those memories and love live on.our deepest condolences to all of you! Rest in peace Steve❤The Kish family

Steve was a great big brother.  He will be greatly missed by Jen, me, and our kids.  Rest easy Steve. We love you.

We are deeply saddened to hear of Steve’s passing.  Steve was a kind soul who will be missed by all who knew him.  Kathi, you can take strength and comfort from the wonderful life you had together.  We are always here for you if you need anything.  Hugs and Prayers to the entire Mace family.  

Steve,I can’t believe you are not here. I will miss our daily talks. Our twisted sense of humor. I will miss that twinkle in your eye when you would get one over on me. I remember the day you were born. Worst snow storm of the year. I can’t separate you from our brothers. You and Joe were my “Bob and Doug” you were my first babysitter job. I always felt like a second Mom to you. I was grateful that I was able to share in your care and support at the beginning of your life and the end journey. Rest easy Steve but don’t think I’ll stop talking to you. I love you Steve. 

Steve was the best brother and friend that I could ever hope for. Our family will be there, for Kathi, with strength that is fueled by Steve’s spirit! We love you Steve.
