Steven Popovsky

Steven M. Popovsky, of Bensalem died suddenly on Thursday, July 15, 2010. He was 40. Born in Philadelphia, Steven resided in Coatesville, PA before moving to Bensalem 3 years ago. He was a 1987 graduate of Cheltenham High School. Steven has been employed with Verizon for the past 13 years. He loved riding his Harley and was a member of Harley's Hogs. Steve will be lovingly remembered as one the kindest people on earth. Steven was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Hettich) Popovsky and was the loving father of Angelo A. and Colin M. Popovsky, Teresa M. Weimer and Claude R. Weimer, Jr. He was the devoted son of Victor T. and Linda G. (Oruska) Popovsky and the loving brother of Sharon D. Popovsky. He will also be sadly missed by 4 grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions to establish an education fund for Steven's children would be appreciated payable to Eleanor Popovsky, c/o 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA 19056.
