

Susan Evert (nee Kiss) beloved wife, mother, mimi, daughter and sister passed away at her home surrounded by her family on December 2, 2021 after a courageous 13 year battle with cancer. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 35 years, Joseph Evert; their daughter Keirstyn Evert (Caitlin); their grandson Nathan; her mother Joan Kiss (nee McNally); her sister Bernadette Wornczyk (George McCardle); her brother Joseph Kiss (Erin); all of her brothers and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many close friends who were like family to her. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Kiss; her father-in-law Thomas L. Evert; her mother-in-law Dorothy Evert; her brother-in-law Mark Wornczyk; and her brother-in-law Thomas L. Evert, Jr.
Sue was born on June 1, 1967 in Philadelphia, Pa. She grew up in Levittown, and moved into her forever home in Fairless Hills in 1996 where she met many lifelong friends. Sue was an avid football fan and loved to cheer on her Philadelphia Eagles. She also had a love for sports cars, alpacas, and all of her fur babies that she owned throughout her life.
Sue was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a way of making everyone she met feel instantly like family through her endless love and support. Sue was an active member of The Medullary Thyroid Cancer group on Facebook where she offered her story and words of advice and guidance to those newly diagnosed.
Relatives and friends are invited to the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc. 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA 19056 on Tuesday December 7, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday December 8, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for a life celebration, with a service immediately to follow. Details for a luncheon will provided following the service.
