

Susan Kondrach (nee Yanish), age 93, of Levittown died on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Yardley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Yardley, PA.
Born and raised in Freeland, PA, she graduated from Freeland High School in 1950. She worked part time as a seamstress before moving to Levittown over 65 years ago. She attended Bucks County Technical School, earned her Home Health Management Assistant Aide Certification, and worked as a home health aide for many years. Throughout her career, she was known for her warm, thoughtful caring manner.
Susan was deeply committed to her faith and remained an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church throughout her life. She participated regularly in parish activities and always offered her help wherever it was needed.
She also enjoyed sewing, cooking desserts, and traditional Slavic food with recipes passed down through the generations. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
During her time at Yardley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Susan was embraced and surrounded by a warm and loving community. She formed a special bond with her companion Lilly, roommate Sylvia, and neighbor Ellen with whom she shared many joyful moments. Together, they laughed, sang, and prayed, bringing comfort and happiness to each other and those around them.
Susan is now reunited with her loving husband of 53 years, John J. Kondrach; her father, Michael Yanish; her mother, Helen Yanish (nee Kondrat); 10 brothers and sisters; and her sons-in-law Dave Schutsky and Brian Hannah.
Susan is survived by her daughters Maryann Stoop (Will) of Tuckahoe, Karen Simpson (Karl) of Langhorne, Carol Kondrach Schutsky of Titusville, and Joanne Hannah Imhof (Al) of Yardley; her 10 grandchildren: John, Geoffrey, Zachary (Amy), Sean (Lisa), Karl (Amanda) Kayli (Eno), Adam (Chloe), Kelly, Benjamin, and Kristi (Jarod); her 5 great-grandchildren: Kassidy, Carter, Bailey, Brooke and Kayce; her sister Margaret Feno (nee Yanish) of Freeland; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call Friday, April 24, 2026 from 10:30am-11:30am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church, 1773 Woodbourne Rd, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19057. Here, the Parastas Service and Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30am. Following the service, her Rite of Committal will begin at 2:00pm at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, Pennsylvania 19020.
