Susan was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Little Flower High School. She was dedicated, hard working and truly enjoyed helping others. Susan spent 32 years working for Woods Services, holding various positions that ranged from working with children in earlier years to being an Administrator of Custodial Services. In her spare time, Susan loved to cook and was an avid reader. She will lovingly be remembered as being gregarious and full of life and laughter!
Susan was the beloved wife of the late Philip E. Picciotti, Sr. She is survived by her loving sister, Catherine McDermott, with whom she resided for the last several years; her nieces Karen Koop and Jeannie McDermott; and nephews Robert Burns, Michael Nigrey, Thomas McDermott, and John McDermott. She also leaves numerous great and great great nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
Susan was also predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Eleanor (Schoonover) McDermott; a sister Carol Ann Nigrey, and a brother James Michael McDermott.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 8:30 until 10:00 AM at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, followed by her Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Rite of Committal will take place at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
