Ted or "Teddy" as he was know by his close friends, was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He enlisted at the age of 17 during the Vietnam War and was deployed aboard the USS Constellation where he was attached to the Reconnaissance Attack (Heavy) Squadron Six (RVAH6) as a jet mechanic for the A-5 Vigilante, American carrier-based supersonic bomber.
Upon being honorably discharged from the military, Ted returned home to help run the family diner and turkey farm as well as to start several of his own business ventures, most notable among them was real estate development and thoroughbred horse racing.
While he was a great businessman, he was an even greater father to his two kids, Taylor and T.J. He was at every baseball game and school concert, being supportive but giving out tough love when needed. His latest enjoyment in life was becoming a grandfather to Savannah and Raya.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Ejdys and Mildred (Ferriod) Ejdys. He is survived by his two children, Taylor Ejdys and Theodore "T.J." Ejdys Jr, as well as his beloved granddaughters Savannah and Raya Ejdys.
