Thomas J. CooganThomas J. Coogan died on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol. He was 71.Born in Pottsville, PA, Mr. Coogan has been a resident of Levittown for over 50 years and was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School.He was a proud U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, having served as a Linesman during the Vietnam War.Mr. Coogan worked as a maintenance repairman at Washington Crossing National Park for 22 years.He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially of the Eagles. In his earlier years, Mr. Coogan enjoyed fishing.One of his favorite past times was reading.Loving husband of 47 years to Mary N. (Chalifoux), Mr. Coogan is the proud father of Brian C. (Sandy).He is the devoted grandfather of Rebecca P. and Brian C. Coogan, Jr.Mr. Coogan is the brother of Patricia Covalesky, Eileen Coogan and Karen Bollard and uncle of Joe Bollard.He will also be sadly missed by his dear friend Helene and his beloved canine companion, George.Mr. Coogan was predeceased by his parents, Thomas M. and Helen A. Coogan.Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 8:30 until 9:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown.
