

Born on November 29, 1935, in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, Thomas lived a full and meaningful life marked by dedication to his family, faith, and work.
Thomas proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. As part of the Security Service during his military tenure, he exemplified courage and commitment to duty. Following his service, Thomas embarked on a career as an electrician with Abar Company and worked at the Patterson Paper Plant in Levittown. In his later years, he worked for Enterprise. He took great pride in his work and the contributions he made throughout his professional life. Thomas was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree Knight.
A man of deep faith, Thomas was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church. He served as a Eucharistic Minister and contributed to the church community by assisting with financial matters. His faith was a cornerstone of his life and guided him daily.
Thomas shared a love for travel with his late wife Shirley Mockler. Together, they explored Europe and many destinations across the United States, creating cherished memories along the way. He was also an avid sports enthusiast who passionately supported the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. College football held a special place in his heart as well—he was a devoted fan of Notre Dame. In quieter moments, Thomas enjoyed trying his luck with scratch-off tickets.
He will be remembered for his caring nature, unwavering support for those he loved, and his remarkable sense of humor. Thomas had a gift for storytelling and could light up any room with his jokes and laughter.
Thomas is survived by his son John Mockler (Linda), daughter Mary Kaiser (Frank), granddaughters Jessica Kniss (Tyler), Theresa Hess (Randy), Cassandra Mockler; great-grandsons Briggs Kniss, Cooper Kniss, and Colton Hess; sister-in-law Gertrude Bolesta; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents John (Jack) and Helen Mockler; beloved wife Shirley Mockler; sisters-in-law Dorothy Cirko and Olga (Lollie) Blazaskie; brothers-in-law Stan Bolesta, Cy Cirko, and Robert Blazaskie.
Thomas’s legacy is one of love, laughter, faith, and devotion to family. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020, on April 8, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ephrem Church at 11:00 am.
Burial with Full Military Honors will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940, on April 8, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
