Born in Jeddo, PA, he was an area resident since 1954.
Tom graduated from high school and served his country honorably in the US Coast Guard during the Korean War. After his service he returned home and went to trade school for electronics. During this time, he met the love of his life, Eleanor, and after a short courtship they were married. Tom supported his family as a civilian electronics technician for the Naval Air Propulsion Center in Ewing, NJ, working there 30 years before retirement. But retirement didn’t stop Tom, and he continued working full time delivering auto parts to area mechanics until he fully retired.
In his off time, Tom coached little league and enjoyed watching the Phillies play. He enjoyed traveling to the casinos in the area and Atlantic City.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 70 years, Eleanor, and his brothers and sisters, Tom is survived by his children, Gloria M. Sottile (Anthony), Thomas Repetz (Susan), and Timothy Repetz, (Kathlene); his grandchildren, Kimberly Keys (Matthew), Amanda Sottile, Thomas William Repetz, Jessica Repetz, Timothy John Repetz (Sophie), Kyle Repetz (Amanda), and Cory Repetz; and 8 great grandchildren.
