Thomas J. Selfridge

Thomas J. Selfridge of Bayville, NJ died on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. He was 72.Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mr. Selfridge summered in Ship Bottom, NJ and has resided in Bayville for the past 15 years.He was a Police Officer for the City of Philadelphia for many years until retiring in 1975. After retiring he had a long career as an x-ray technician. Mr. Selfridge was the loving father of Chrissy Rose and her husband Rob of Holland and the devoted grandfather of Mary Kate.He was the beloved son of Ann M. (Cleary) and the late Robert J. Selfridge and the brother of Robert Selfridge, Ron Selfridge, Nan Kasitz and Teresa Fleck.He will also be missed by his fiancé Patricia Miller, her son Shawn and many nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 8, 2015 from 9:45 until 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Church, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940 where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Free to Breathe, 1 Point Place, Suite 200, Madison, WI 53719 or freetobreath.orgOn Facebook,  "Like" the Tom Selfridge Memorial Page.
