Thomas was raised in Upper Lehigh, PA and attended Foster Township High School. After graduation he served in the United States Army and was stationed in various locations including Greenland. He attended Bucks County Community College. He worked and retired, after 40 years of service, from Rohm & Haas Chemical Company in Bristol, PA.
Throughout his life he was an avid exerciser, golfer, runner, and traveler. He always had a story about one trip or another that he spent with his loving wife as they explored the beauty of the United States and the world. As an avid golfer, he could often be found out on the course with his friend Don Gallagher. The two forged a deep friendship that went beyond the green and lasted throughout the remainder of Tom’s life.
Thomas was a member of the Saint Michael the Archangel Church in Levittown, PA. Throughout his membership he volunteered when needed, sang in the choir, and especially liked the times his family would fill the pew at Sunday service. He loved his Philadelphia EAGLES. He was surrounded by family as he was able to witness a 2nd Super Bowl win. PT never met a person he did not like, no matter the circumstance.
PT loved his children and grandchildren and often participated or could be found at their extracurricular activities. If you looked into the audience or up in the stands you could always find PT. Throughout his life he was always involved with his family: holding his grandchildren and reading them a story, sitting at a dining room table and drawing cartoon characters with them, asking his adult children about their day and giving the best non-judgmental advice or just a shoulder to lean on when needed. He shared his love of life and adventure with his family. In his house the norm was family dinners, vacations, birthdays celebrations, and togetherness. It is the gift he gave each one of them. He guided his family with his example of unconditional love, humor, and acceptance. He was a remarkable man and lived & loved in tandem with his wife, his best friend, Mary to build this beauty that became his family.
