Tim was a lifelong resident of the Northeast and 1972 graduate of Father Judge High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1975 until 1978.
A true "Jack of all trades", Tim worked in various jobs throughout his life. In earlier years he was a partner in the family business, the former Gallagher's Produce, in Northeast Philadelphia. He spent many years inspecting imported fruit for the growers, especially from Chile. Tim played Santa at the mall for several years and enjoyed bringing smiles to the children. More recently he worked on landscaping and maintenance at several local golf courses. Tim was always there to help others with repairs or construction projects around the house. He was always tinkering in his garden and carefully tended to many plants and veggies with his green thumb!
In his free time, Tim enjoyed golfing, fishing and he loved watching The Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, Sixers and Penn State games. Tim was a train enthusiast and lovingly sent out Christmas cards displaying a train every holiday season. He adored his nieces and nephews and cherished spending time with his family.
He is the beloved son of the late John J. Gallagher, Sr. and Rose M. (nee Mullen) Gallagher.
Tim is the cherished brother of Rosemary G. Pagliaro, John J. (Nancy) Gallagher, Jr., Margaret Ann Traylor, Patrick J. (Donna) Gallagher and Michael A. (Mary) Gallagher. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pa 19056. His funeral service will be held at 11:30 am. Interment Private.
