Loving Husband, Beloved Father, and Cherished Grandfather; Affectionately known as "Peep-O"
Todd W. Orr, age 63, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, just two months after celebrating his 63rd birthday. Todd was surrounded by the love and support of his family during his final days.
Todd was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2023 and fought bravely for the past year and a half. He was deeply supported by his wife of nearly 36 years, Karen (Haegele), and his three children: Tyler (spouse Bridgette), Megan (spouse Ed), and Samantha and nephew (Drew). He was adored by his three young grandchildren, Weston, Maeve, and Sloane as well as all the family's many dogs.
Todd spent 37 years as a dedicated employee of Haddonfield Lumber, Strober Building Supply, Pro Build and finally Builders First Source. We thank his team for being so caring and flexible since Todd began treatment in 2023.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Todd was a devoted Eagles fan and cherished watching games with his family and friends. This year, he had the special joy of watching the Eagles win the Super Bowl with his loved ones, a memory they all held dear.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Jane , and three of his four elder siblings: Barbara, Laura, and Tim. He is survived by his wife, children, mother in law (Barbara), eldest brother (Tom), as well as many dear friends who became like family over the years.
Todd was a devoted family man, particularly loving his grandchildren, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Todd was a supportive member of God's Love Lutheran Church and we appreciate the love this community has shown our family with during this difficult time.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the oncology team at Capital Health Hopewell and the 5th floor infusion nurses for their guidance and care during his cancer treatment as well as Holy Redeemer Home Hospice staff for the exceptional care and support they provided, ensuring Todd was comfortable in his final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Fireside Inn, 237 Elmwood Ave, Trevose, PA 19053. Please wear you favorite sports attire, the Phillies play at 2:00 PM! (Eagles attire is welcomed too!)
