

Vera L. Kay Vera L. Kay died peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 97. Born and raised in Kansas, one of 9 children born to the late Richard and Anna Mae Preston, she was a current resident of Crestview Center. Mrs. Kay came to Fairless Hills in 1951 and was quite proud to be the 5th family to move into the newly formed US Steel community. Mrs. Kay had a great passion for golf and was a longtime member of the Fairless Hills Golf Course. She was a founding and current member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish. Beloved wife of the late Edward G., Mrs. Kay was the loving mother of Robert E. (Kathie), Patricia Lewis and Kathy Westbrook; the devoted grandmother of 17 and the proud great grandmother of numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her sister, Mildred. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 8:30 until 9:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 South Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. At the request of her family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
