Virginia R. Ellis

Following the death of her husband Richard C. Ellis on June 4, 2020, Mrs. Ellis was brought to this area and passed just months later.

She loved traveling with her husband as they bought homes throughout Pennsylvania and South Carolina after their retirement. Her beloved husband served in the US Navy and then became a Police Officer where he worked as a Sergeant with the Lower Makefield Police department. Virginia worked at Princeton House as an admissions coordinator before her retirement. Virginia also loved to spend her time shopping with friends and family. Virginia and Richard were married for 67 years, where they enjoyed spending time after retirement decorating new homes they purchased.

Beloved wife of the late Richard Clinton, Mrs. Ellis is the loving mother of Robin C. Aspelund (Rolf); devoted grandmother of Stacy McClain (Steve), Dawn Baines (Mercer) and Jayme Watters (Tim); and the proud great grandmother of LCPL CJ McClain, Ashley Baines and Allyson Watters.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in Newtown Cemetery, 16 N. Chancellor Street, Newtown, PA.
