Walter J. Egan Jr.

Walter J. Egan Jr. of Fairless Hills died on Friday, November 25, 2016. He was 53.Born in Bristol, Walter has been a life long resident of Fairless Hills and was a 1981 graduate of Pennsbury High School and the Bucks County Technical School. He was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran.Walter spent his career working as an electrician with J & S Electrical Contractors. He was always a hard working man who was very handy and also enjoyed fixing cars, especially Trans Am's.Walter enjoyed nature and had a fondness for snakes. He liked to go out and have fun and was known for giving advice. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Eagles, and he also enjoyed NASCAR. Walter played softball throughout his life and was known to his teammates as "#12 The Ultimate Weapon". He enjoyed drawing and was a very talented artist.Walter is the father of JoAnne Lucille Egan and the son of Loretta T. and the late Walter J. Egan Sr.He is the brother of Elizabeth Schultz (Scott) and Sue Miller (Steve) and will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.Family and friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Wednesday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 12 noon.
