Born in Bristol, PA, he was a lifelong area resident. He made a living as a truck driver, "hauling concrete" as he would say.
Every year Billy looked forward to the New Year's Day Mummers Parade in Philadelphia. He enjoyed fishing at Penn Warner and the Delaware River, going camping, dancing and listening to music, and riding his Harley with his wife and friends.
He was a meticulous landscaper, spending countless weekends mowing the lawn. He will always be remembered saying "Give me twenty minutes" when his children wanted to go swimming.
Billy Diamond was known by his family and friends as being shirtless, even on the job site.
But most importantly, Billy loved spending time with his family; he spoke about them all the time.
Predeceased by his mother, Anne O'Malley Diamond; his sister, Nancy; his brother John, his brother-in-law Steve Nelson, and his pets, Sadie, Bear, and Maggie; he is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Barbara; his daughters, Haley Diamond, Marie Diamond, Jennifer Stewart (Shawn), and Veronica Diamond; his grandchildren, Briana, Billy, and Gordon, and many friends he made throughout the years.
He will also be sadly missed by his pets, Copper and Bailey.
A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, followed by a funeral service, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA.
