William D. Gardiner passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Chandler Hall in Newtown.
Born in Darby, PA, Mr. Gardiner grew up in Washington, DC. He and his family moved around a lot in his younger years.
He was a graduate of Howard University.
Mr. Gardiner was employed with Quicken and retired in 2015.
He was a member of the Delaware Valley Golf Club for 40 years.
Beloved husband of 16 years to Nilsa, Mr. Gardiner is the loving father of Howard, April, Shawn, and the late William Gardiner; the devoted grandfather of 10; proud great grandfather of 4; and dear brother of Howard Gardiner (the late Lena, "Butch") and Shavown Cox (Brian). He was the uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He will also be sadly missed by his stepchildren, Michele Lippincott (Jeff), Bobby Chuba, John-Michael Chuba and five step grandchilden.
Services and interment will be held privately.
