
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bill was known for his bravery, hard work, and honesty. A proud Vietnam veteran, he honorably served his country in the Army infantry. Throughout his career as a mechanic, Bill’s incredible talent for fixing anything that was broken—and his dedication to doing every job right—earned the admiration of everyone who knew him. Bill found great joy in riding motorcycles and working on cars—hobbies that reflected his love of adventure and connection with others.
Family was at the heart of everything Bill did. He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Darlene Marmion, his children, Billy Marmion, Miranda Steele, Jim Marmion, and Kelly Marmion, and his grandchildren, Steven Marmion, Oakley Marmion, and James Marmion. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Millie Linneman, and his lifelong friend, Charlie DeComa.
Services will take place privately.
Bill will be remembered for his warmth, courage, and tireless spirit. His legacy of love, bravery, and hard work will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know him.
