

William was born on December 21, 1928 in Morrisville, Pennsylvania.
He was known to All as “Pop”, a beloved husband to His late wife Margaret for 70 years, a father of four sons, a grandfather of 11, a great grandfather of nine and an Uncle to 83 nieces and nephews along with additional Family and Friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and George Phillips and was the lone survivor of 16 siblings.
“Pop” served our country faithfully and honorably in the US Navy during the Korean War, partaking in over 200 successful missions, thank the Lord!
“Pop” was a restaurateur who touched countless lives and welcomed those in the community with His warm greeting and His humorous smile.
During his retirement years “Pop” kept His youthful energy and funny wit while He enjoyed bowling, bingo, scratch-offs and an occasional trip to the casino. Although, his favorite past time was watching his Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and the Phillies play baseball, His favorite sport, as He was a Little League Home Plate Umpire for 25 years.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:20 AM at St. Frances Cabrini, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030, with Mass of Christian burial to follow at 9:30 AM
Burial with full military honors will occur Monday, May 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940. Please be in line at the main office no later than 12:45 PM.
