William E. Van Arsdale

William E. Van Arsdale, III died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 69.Born in Trenton, NJ, the son of the late Hilda (Cook) Van Arsdale and the late William E. Van Arsdale, Jr., Bill was a former long time Levittown resident. He had resided in Langhorne for the past 15 years.Bill was a 1964 Neshaminy High School graduate and acheived his Bachelor Degree in Business at Rider College in New Jersey.Bill was an avid golfer and loved going fishing with his friends.Beloved husband of 19 years to Catherine A. (McCool), Bill was the loving father of William E. IV. He was the devoted grandfather of Elayna, Will, Cheyenne and Deliaha; stepson of Ann Van Arsdale; brother of Barbara Ritter (Ron); and uncle to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 9:30 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill's memory may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
